Series production of valves, actuators and automation technology is our business – the development of customized solutions for special applications is our passion.
Since 1972 EBRO ARMATUREN has been developing, producing and selling shut-off and control valves as well as automation technology for industrial applications. More than 1,000 employees at two domestic and 30+ international subsidiaries ensure that EBRO products are available in over 100 countries worldwide. Production takes place at the headquarters in Germany and in Italy, Sweden, China and Thailand with uniformly high manufacturing and quality standards. In 2005, the Swedish manufacturer Stafsjö Valves AB was acquired and the product range was extended by an extensive portfolio of knife gate valves. More than 35,000 customers worldwide rely on customer satisfaction, quality and safety which are reflected in the range of more than 350,000 product variants, which are manufactured with high-precision technology and distributed with fast delivery performance around the globe and especially for demanding sectors such as the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage industry, mining and seawater desalination.

EBRO has a full range of valves developed for tough abrasive slurry and other related process media such as sludge and process water. Our valves for slurry handling covers several pressure classes making the range complete for both the processing plant as well for the tailing system. Our slurry valve SLV is typically used in the sizing process on cyclones, as isolation valve around slurry pumps or tanks. For light slurry, sludge and process water the WB and MV range becomes useful with their precise characteristics to cut off the flow and to secure a tight shut-off and no discharge. The MV is also available in stainless steel and suitable for underground operations with water of low pH.
High operating pressures and extreme temperatures - wherever other valves reach their physical limits, this series is the ideal solution. The double eccentric design of the valve disc, high-quality materials and outstanding workmanship ensure safety even in extreme conditions of use. Different sealing systems enable an optimal solution for the respective field of application.
Stafsjö’s knife gate valve MV is used within many different fields of applications. The valve has a gate with a bevel edge that effectively cuts through different media. In closed position the gate is pushed onto the seat which gives a tight and reliable sealing. This special shut-off technique makes the MV valve suitable for both fluids and dry media such as pulp, sludge, biomass, powder and different kinds of waste.
