Products & Services

Over the years, we have expanded and further developed our sensors into a multi-purpose solution family that covers real-time filling height control, 2D and 3D stockpile visualizations, machine positioning with mm accuracy, speed and volume flow control for conveyor belts and much more. All of our solutions can easily be combined to fit your specific requirements in one modular solution package.

It is widely known that radar is the best suited technology for the harsh environmental conditions in mining and other heavy industries. This was the starting point for indurad and time has proven us right: To this day, indurad has not had a single case of sensor failure caused by conditions that usually take laser, ultrasonic or other sensors out of the game.
indurad offers both detailed support in third party mechanical and electrical integration and our own local services with integration partners, or our own mechanical and electric engineers.

iCrusher | Level control and blockage detection solution for all types of crushers

indurad radar sensors in its iCrusher offering enable real- time measurement of the crusher surge pocket or apron feeder levels in harsh environmental conditions, thereby allowing truck unloading optimization and automatic feeder control. The high reliability and availability of the underlying indurad sensor technology make iCrusher the perfect base for improving the entire crushing process. This technology has been proven to boost the performance of any brand and model of crusher.

iSilo / iStockpile | 3D Inventory Control

Our iSilo / iStockpile solutions have been adding value to a multitude of bulk material handling processes by providing precise 3D inventory control for all sorts of silos and stockpiles or domes. Growing industry requirements such as: needing to convert material level to volume or mass, accounting for specific material behavior, and operating reliably in harsh ambient conditions have proven to be too much for conventional level measurement systems.

News & Innovations

indurad unloading truck automation
BHP Minera Escondida unveiled its astonishing 15 Mio US$ annual ROI contribution using @indurad iCrusher at Chancador Primario CH3 and CH5 at Transbelt2022 conference in Chile.
The agile implementation of the second generation of iCrusher including a set of iSDR-P 3D scanners allows to dump 25% more trucks each hour by:
• Predictable and constant operation
• Online Throughput estimation
• Early blockage detection
• Interface to dispatch
• Interface to mine scheduling
We would like to thank the BHP Escondida team for developing the project, Thecne SpA for the PLC Software development and the Chilean and German indurad team for the radarmachinevision software development.
Further benefits upcoming to be harvested at the running rollout to 2 more primary crushers at Escondida.

indurad iLoadout technology
Copper and coal miner Teck Resources operates Fording River mine in southeastern British Columbia in Canada. The mine produces nine million tonnes of metallurgical coal annually, which is shipped by rail to Vancouver for export.
indurad commissioned its iLoadout solution at one of the mine’s two train loadouts and in the following month, railcar underloading was reduced by half and tonnes shipped was increased dramatically. Further reading
